Better & Better
Mike told me that he's working with Cleopatra Records lately and that they are going to release an A Flock of Seagulls Remix CD. I've sent a message or two to the folks at Cleopatra and they sure are a busy bunch there. March 23^rd, 1999 they released Virgin Voices A Tribute to Madonna Volume 1. Volume 2, which will be released later this year, will include This Used To Be My Playground by A Flock of Seagulls.

Cleopatra Records sent a promo copy of volume 1 to me, and I've got to say it's really good. Hearing Heaven 17, Dead or Alive, Berlin, KMFDM, Information Society, and even Boy George redoing Madonna songs - too cool. I can't say it was all good, but I let a friend at work listen to it and he jumped on my web page and ordered a copy from my Amazon link after listening to just a few songs. If you like good 80's music freshly made in the 90's, this is the CD for you!

Terri Smith in Florida asks "How tall is Mike?" Who can answer that one? She also has been a fan for a LONG time and sent me photocopies of things she received back in 1983 - amazing. I'm going to try to get a lot of this stuff out in the coming newsletters and on the web site.
